Youth Pastor

James grew up in Greenville attending and serving at Aldersgate Church. James attended Texas A&M Commerce where he met and married his sweet wife Christan and then moved to Little Rock, Arkansas. James began working with youth at Cornerstone Bible Fellowship Church until moving to Phoenix, Arizona. Slowly God began orchestrating a series of providential circumstances that brought James and Christan back to Texas and Aldersgate Church. James began serving as youth intern in 2007 and was called as full-time student pastor in 2009. Since that time God has blessed James and Christan with a beautiful baby girl, Genesis Ella. James’ passion is to connect both parents and youth to Christ, His words and each other. We are blessed to have him leading our Student Ministries.

I was raised in church as far back as I can remember. I attended Richardson Heights Baptist Church until I was 10 years old. My mother and I relocated to Beaumont, TX where she married my step dad who was Catholic. We attended St. Anne’s Catholic Church until Wilson and I moved to Greenville. I am happy to be attending a church where it truly feels like I am at home every time I walk through the door.
